How can you contribute to make the world a better place? Simple actions and positive choices are highlighted in this 48-page book, rendered in digital illustrations by Ka‘ū high school student Kelson Gallano.
“A global pandemic impacts everyone, but it presents especially great challenges for children and their families,” says author and retired educator Joyce Iwashita. “The question I had was, ‘How could I help children, if I were still principal of a school?’” To answer her own question, she wrote What the World Needs Now to spread the message that “Everyone can contribute to making things right in their schools, in their communities, and throughout the world.”
What the World Needs Now shows us how each of us can lead a fulfilling life through positive thought and action.
