Written by Priscilla and Daniel, two former classroom teachers who just wrote a children's book we wish all keiki in the Hawaiian islands had (both residents and visitors alike). Their keiki were the catalysts for this book--and even assisted with the research, the interviews, and the creative direction!
With the help of incredibly knowledgeable and talented experts from all over Hawai'i, they created A Keiki Guide to the Hawaiian Islands. Kelsie Dayna, an incredible Oahu-based artist, illustrated the book in her signature style that is so very fun and engaging!
This beautiful 96-page project is an introduction to the geography, history, and culture of Hawai'i. We hope that keiki and families will use the guide to intentionally interact with the spaces they explore, that it will inspire them to dig deeper into what they can learn from the Hawaiian islands!
